Tatiana Auguste, born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 2001, is a young Canadian politician and member of the Liberal Party of Canada. She immigrated to Canada in 2008 and grew up in Montreal, where she completed high school and a bachelor’s degree in economics at Concordia University.

In the 2025 Canadian federal election, Tatiana Auguste ran in the riding of Terrebonne, Quebec. The election was extremely close: she was initially declared the winner by just 35 votes over the Bloc Québécois incumbent, Nathalie Sinclair Desgagné. However, after a recount, the latter was finally declared victorious by a margin of 44 votes.

Despite this setback, another source reports that Tatiana Auguste finally became the MP for Terrebonne, winning by just one more vote, confirmed by the riding’s returning officer. This victory strengthens the position of the Liberal Party of Canada in the House of Commons.
