Participating teams and draw format The tournament will feature 16 teams, including 15 from CONCACAF and host nation Saudi Arabia. The draw will use a double-blind system with eight pots. Pot 1 consists of defending champion Mexico and the top three seeds (Canada, Panama, and the United States). Pot 2 is made up of Costa Rica, Jamaica, Honduras and Haiti. Pot 3 includes Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, El Salvador and Suriname, while Pot 4 features Guadeloupe, Curacao, the Dominican Republic and Saudi Arabia.
Pre-seeding Mexico, as the defending champions, will be seeded in Group A. The highest-ranked team will be placed in Group B, the second-highest in Group C, and the third-highest in Group D. Tournament Structure The group stage will run from June 14-24, followed by the knockout stage beginning with the quarterfinals on June 28-29, the semifinals on July 2, and the final on July 6.
