The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has launched a case study on the Banj platform, Haiti’s first co-working space for entrepreneurs, as part of efforts to enhance knowledge about entrepreneurship in Haiti.

The study was presented on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Delmas. Founded in 2017 by Marc-Alain Boucicault, Banj serves as a hub for innovation and collaboration among Haitian entrepreneurs and start-ups. It has played a pivotal role in fostering the tech startup ecosystem in Haiti, despite challenges such as limited infrastructure and internet access.

The IDB’s involvement underscores its broader commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and economic development in Haiti. Through initiatives such as this case study, the IDB aims to showcase successful business development models and provide lessons that can be applied to similar contexts across the Caribbean and Latin America.
