This followed the death of Kenyan MSS officer Constable Samuel Kaetuai. Voltaire praised the MSS contingents from Kenya, Jamaica, Guatemala, El Salvador, the Bahamas, and Belize for their collaboration with the Haitian National Police (HNP) in combating gang violence.
During the visit, Voltaire introduced incoming TPC President Fritz Alphonse Jean and was accompanied by HNP Director Normil Rameau. MSS Deputy Force Commander Col. Chevron Henry expressed gratitude for Haitian support and highlighted the MSS-HNP partnership’s successes in regions like Artibonite and Kenscoff.
The MSS reaffirmed its commitment to restoring Haiti’s stability despite challenges, emphasizing that its officers remain motivated to continue their mission. This collaboration is part of broader efforts to address Haiti’s security crisis and support its transition toward democratic governance.
