Christian Jérôme, a swimmer from Melrose, NY, has distinguished himself as the 100-meter butterfly champion at the 2025 New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) championship.
Accomplishments
NYSPHSAA Champion: He won first place in the 100-yard butterfly at the NYSPHSAA Boys Federation Championship in Ithaca, NY, with a time of 48.04 seconds.
Section 2 Champion: Before his state victory, Jérôme also won the 100-yard butterfly at the NYSPHSAA Section 2 Division 2 Championship with a time of 48.17 seconds. He also took first place in the 500-yard freestyle at this event.Other Victories: In 2025, Christian also took first place in the 200-yard butterfly at the AD Region 1 Invitational and the AD DELM Delmar Dolfins February Freeze.
